Welcome to
OMG Tango Marathon

9-12 July 2026

Basel, Switzerland

Our motivation

We love tango, have many friends, and love hanging out, together we want to create a great weekend bringing together people with similar tastes in tango. We want you to feel relaxed, accepted, inspired to party, and eager to dance a lot.

Tango, swimming in the Rhine, pre-parties, after-parties, after-afterparties, music, laughter, funny selfies, bubbles—let’s create this weekend together and go with the flow.

We’re both huge fans of the Época de Oro—though, full disclosure: we have a bit of a flair for the dramatic! Our DJs are set to weave a magical tango flow that will take you from soulful embraces straight into a high-energy party vibe.

So you can loudly say: Oh my gosh! That was awesome! 🥰

Gregor about Margarita

Margarita and I are teaming up again! After a lot of success with the charity milonga La Luz, we’re bringing our proven chemistry to a new project. I’m thrilled to blend my experience with Margarita’s unique energy to host a Basel summer party you won’t want to miss. Come for the tango, stay for the garden vibes and a dip in the Rhine!

— Gregor Tangonaut

Margarita about Gregor

With Gregor, I was lucky to meet through tango, and now our friendship extends beyond it as well.

Gregor has been involved in tango for quite some time (dancing, DJing, and organizing events) and in that regard, you really have nothing to worry about. He knows how to make people feel welcome and cared for.

If you don’t know Gregor personally, you probably imagine him as very serious. And if you do know Gregor – then you know the real him.

— Margarita Kudlai

About the venue Don Bosco

Don Bosco is a music and event hub. It’s close to the river Rhine and has a lovely garden. Wooden floor, a top-notch sound system, access to the dancefloor from everywhere and a cool bar will make your mood go “OMG”.
